Bob Hessler is a retired corporate public relations executive. He has always had a love affair with cooking, learning the basics as a line cook at a New Jersey restaurant during summer breaks while attending college. His culinary skills grew as he and his wife entertained often for family and friends in at their homes in Wilmington, DE.
For three years he was a sous chef at PUFF (Pick Up Fine Food) a well known gourmet take-out bistro in Montchanin, DE. He continues to refine and improve his culinary knowledge through culinary education courses and as a part time cook at a Cape Cod retirement center.
Bob established WHAT‘S FOR DINNER? in Chatham in the fall of 2006 when he and his wife moved here permanently from Wilmington, DE. Since then he worked with such diverse clients as young families, empty nesters, the Chatham Senior Center the Chatham Chamber of Commerce by providing a range of food choices from hors d’oeuvres, ethnic food, special diet meals, organic preparations, local seafood dishes, and desserts.
